At first glance, the closed Mikiphone appears quite compact, easily fitting inside a purse.

However, it requires some assembly, with its components stored within the case, which, when shut, measures just 11.5 cm in diameter and 4.7 cm in thickness.

The recording head and a two-piece Bakelite resonator had to be connected to the foldout tone arm before the shellac disc could be placed on the turntable’s central pin.

This precision engineering feat was awarded first prize at an international music exhibition in Geneva in 1927.

Gladys Ingle is preparing to “change” from Bon MacDougall’s Jenny to Art Goebel’s Jenny, January 1926. During her career, Gladys made more than 300 plane changes without a slip.

Aran Islands 1929: AI Enhanced Time Travel 4K 60fps

The Banshees of Inisherin was filmed recently on Inishmore, the largest of the islands.

Aufnahmen vom Bau des Empire State Buildings in Farbe

90 Jahre her und hier nun bearbeitet und nachkoloriert.

This film is a compilation of restored, enhanced & colorized film footage involving the construction of the Empire State Building (ESB) in New York nearly a century ago.
It shows how the base of the building is laid, how all parts are produced in nearby steel works, how steel parts are riveted together, the dangers of working at such high construction altitudes and the completion of the ESB.

„Berlin: Die Sinfonie der Großstadt“ von 1927 [A.I. restored & Colorized]

Zumindest so ähnlich. Manche Farben sind ganz schön drüber. Schön ist’s trotzdem.

The original B&W film has been motion-stabilized, slightly speed corrected, restored, enhanced and colorized with modern A.I. software. Because the film was shot at only 20 fps, a 20% reduction in speed would be necessary to show it at 25 fps. In order to keep the music synchronised with the film, but not to slow down the music too much, a speed reduction of 10% was chosen as a compromise. So the film is still 10% too fast and the music played back 10% slower.
Note: Because of the A.I. automatic colorization, some colors may not be true to life.
