Zurecht mehrfach ausgezeichneter Kurzfilm von Jorn Leeuwerink, der zeigt, dass auch gute Absichten nicht davor schützen in einer Katastrophe zu enden.

A case of mistaken identity has seriously unpleasant consequences in this unsettling arboreal tale that might or might not be a parable of our times. When a special flower unaccountably goes missing, an ever-growing group of animals sets off in pursuit of the purloined bloom, but, as is often the case, the best intentions lead only to unforeseen catastrophe.

Drawn by hand on thousands of market data pages from The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times with ink, white-out, gouache paint, gold leaf and other materials.

Wenn Meeresplastik in der Tiefe zu so Dingen mutiert: Donks

Herrlich verspulte Animation von Felix Colgrave, die uns zeigt, was da unten ganz tief im Meer mit den Resten aus Plastik passiert, wenn es denn zusammenfindet und mutiert. Ich habe ewig keine Pilze mehr probiert und denke, das wäre dann ein ganz toller optischer Begleiter. Wobei mir das in der Summe wohl auch ein wenig Angst würde. Also lass ich das mal lieber.

Von oben aus betrachtet ergibt das durchaus Sinn. Kann ja gar nicht anders wirken. Und wir Menschen als Parasiten der Autos.

This animated short proposes what many earthlings have long feared — that the automobile has inherited the planet. When life on Earth is portrayed as one long, unending conga-line of cars, a crew of extra-terrestrial visitors understandably assume they are the dominant race. Migrants ist ein kraftvoller, zu recht preisgekrönter Kurzfilm von Schülern der Pôle 3D-Schule in Tourcoing-Roubaix, Frankreich, der zwei Eisbären dabei begleitet, wie sie auf der Suche nach einem neuen Zuhause sind.

Two polar bears are driven into exile due to global warming. They will encounter brown bears along their journey, with whom they will try to cohabitate.
