Ich habe es ja ein bisschen mit so Druckverfahren. Finde ich spannend und mitunter nicht wenig faszinierend. Außerdem habe ich auf Arbeit ein Hochbeet, in das ich im Juni ein paar mir unbekannte Samen gesetzt hatte, die jetzt als ganz wundervoll und orange leuchtende Blüten bis in die letzte Woche hinein Bienen und Hummeln mit Blütenstaub versorgt haben. Sie riechen leicht zitronig und sind optisch sehr dominant. Ich habe mir dann Anfang dieser Woche eine dieser Pflanzenbestimmungsapps runtergeladen, denn diese Blumen hätte ich im nächsten Jahr auch sehr gerne wieder in dem Beet. Stellt sich raus: es sind Calendula. Haben mit dem Druck nichts zu tun, sehen sich aber irgendwie ähnlich.
Und dann sehe ich dieses Video, das zeigt wie Elina Adrshina einen Linolschnitt mit sechs Farben von jener Calendula einer Tagetes macht und dann passt halt mal wieder alles zusammen. Toll!

Drei Minuten floraler Schönheiten, die in Zeitraffer wackeln, sich öffnen, sich ausdehnen und verwelken. Voll schön und in bester Qualität. Ganz natürlicher Augenzucker.

Wenn wir jetzt das mit dem Licht aus in den Innenstädten hinkriegen, haben wir vielleicht Kapazitäten in allen Städten an Plätzen 2-3 dieser Lampen aufzustellen und treffen uns dort abends, um uns alle einfach mal freundlich anstrahlen zu lassen.

The cacti shown in this video come from my collection. The evening when it looks like a plant’s flowers are about to bloom, I bring it indoors to image. Most of the clips in this montage show approximately 8 hours of change as the flowers open and bloom. A little more than halfway through the montage, there’s a series of three clips showing different views of a 24-hour period in the life of a yellow-flowered ‚Daydream‘ plant. Six flowers that opened the night before I started filming wilt to nothingness and another 4 flowers grow dramatically and then open. This series of ‚Daydream‘ clips is followed by another three showing other types of flowers wilting. These additional wilting clips are also taken over a daylong period.
