„Meet James. James is obsessed with keeping East African vinyl alive. From his small market stall in Nairobi, he sells records to enthusiasts from across the globe.“

In the film, British journalist Vivien Goldman takes us through all the iconic record shops like Randy’s and Rockers International, pressing plants and speaks to local DJ’s and musicians on how a culture so rooted in records has found itself in helpless decline.
“Jamaica had so many studios, outstanding studios, pressing plants, small producers and big producers, who were able to capture this whole spirit of the people in the grooves of these records,” explains Herbie Miller. “This is the industry is the biggest calling card for this country.”

01. David Bowie – Blackstar
02. Amy Winehouse – Back To Black
03. Various Artists – Guardians of the Galaxy Mix 1
04. Radiohead – A Moon Shaped Pool
05. Fleetwood Mac – Rumours
06. The Stone Roses – Stone Roses
07. Bob Marley – Legend
08. The Beatles – Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
09. Prince – Purple Rain
10. Nirvana – Nevermind

We love our computer! Whether it’s for keeping track of the latest news/gossip, shopping for new gear or posting pictures of cats with moustaches. With so much to do it’s a wonder we find time to eat and sleep – let alone finish our cuppa. So for all those who are ‘hard at work’, we’ve got the Hot Disks USB Mug Warmer.

Too many classics to be left with little or no protection.”
