The Nenet reindeer herders need to move their tent every few days throughout most of the year. Every time they migrate they must pack the whole tent away, drag it across the tundra on sledges, and erect it again in a fresh place, sometimes in temperatures of minus thirty degrees. Survival depends on working together as a team.

After staying in the wooded taiga for two months they start to migrate north following the ancient paths of migrating reindeer (caribou). In four months they will travel up to 1200km and must pack and move every three to five days to keep up with their herd. They must reach their summer quarters before the snows melt and flood great rivers with icy waters too cold and deep for the calves, born along the way, to cross.

Cats love small, dark and comfy places – this behavior is instinctive so they can hide from predators and they naturally feel safe when the walls of a box or tent come into contact with their little furry bodies. …Whether you’re planning to head out for a few nights under the stars or just looking for a unique resting place for your cat, Cat Camp is a great addition for any living room.

Modulares Zeltsystem: Qube Tents

(Direktlink)

A solar panel simply unfolds and slips into the pocket behind the window and plugs directly into the battery pack to store free energy. The battery pack can then be used to charge your smart phone or smart device– anything with a USB connection– or it can be used to power a LED lighting strip that offers a soft lighting inside the tent. The battery stores enough energy for charging devices to full power 5-6 times from one stored charge.

This causes a lot of waste, and as you can imagine, it is not very friendly for the environment: all the tents that were designed to last go to the landfill after just one use. This is why we came up with the KarTent, a temporary festival tent made entirely out of cardboard. The cardboard allows for easy recycling of the tent; after the festival the tent can go directly to the paper recycling industry so that they can re-use your tent to make toilet paper, schoolbooks, shoe boxes or other romantic things!

Of course the tent is waterproof. It will stand and keep you dry for a guaranteed 3 days of constant rain.

But our tent has more cool stuff to it! Because it is cardboard, it can be easily printed. This means that if you want, we can print your personal crazy photographs, texts, or drawings on the tent! For the first time in human history, it is possible to sleep in a habitat with a picture of Chuck Norris on it. No one will dare to bother you now!
