Trailer: Who Killed The KLF?

“Who Killed the KLF?” uses previously unheard tapes to explore the rise and fall of the KLF in the 1980s and 1990s, touching upon themes that perfectly capture the 21st century zeitgeist. The film is a fascinating insight into the machinations not only of Jimmy Cauty and Bill Drummond, but of art, culture, and capitalism. A tale as intriguing as it is bonkers, “Who Killed the KLF?” will entice, intrigue and shock audiences everywhere.

Album-Stream: The KLF veröffentlichen mit „Come Down Dawn“ eine re-editierte Version ihres Über-Albums „Chill Out“

Was kommt denn bitte hier gerade rein, Leuddies?!

Come Down Dawn is a re-edited version of the 1990 album Chill Out, with selection of prominent samples from the original release removed in the mix. The omissions include a BBC Radio 1 jingle from the Friday Rock Show featuring Tommy Vance, and direct excerpts from a 1961 composition „Stranger on the Shore“ by Acker Bilk, a 1968 song „Albatross“ by Fleetwood Mac, a 1989 song „After the Love“ by Jesus Loves You (both from „3 a.m. Somewhere out of Beaumont“), and a 1969 song „In the Ghetto“ by Elvis Presley (from „Elvis on the Radio, Steel Guitar in My Soul“).

The KLF bringen ihre Musik zurück ins Netz

(Direktlink)

The KLF Comeback: Welcome to the dark ages

„A poster tweeted by the band earlier today says that they will be “unearthing aspects of the 2023 trilogy across Liverpool,” while listing the date and times of 00.23 on August 23 to 23.23 on August 27.“

The KLF bringen in diesem Jahr… ein Buch

2023: A Trilogy.

Well we’re back again,
They never kicked us out,
twenty thousand years of
SHOUT SHOUT SHOUT

Down through the epochs and out across the continents, generation upon generation of the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu have told variants of the same story – an end of days story, a final chapter story. But with one hope, even if the hope at times seems forlorn.

The story contained in this trilogy is the latest telling. Here it is presented as a utopian costume drama, set in the near future, written in the recent past.
Read with care.

Nach 23 Jahren: The KLF kommen wieder

„2017: What The Fuck Is Going On?

It is almost 23 years since the Justified Ancients Of Mu Mu announced a self imposed and self important 23 year moratorium. The reasons for the moratorium have now been lost in time, space, and a rusting shipping container somewhere near Sizewell B Nuclear Power Station.

What is known is:

The Justified Ancients Of Mu Mu have zero involvement with any video clips, films, recorded music, documentary productions, biographies, West End musicals or social media chatter relating to the letters K L or F, now or at any other time over the previous 23 years.

Furthermore:

The Justified Ancients Of Mu Mu have no interest in anything that seeks to comment on, bounce off, glorify, debunk or resurrect their historical work.

The Justified Ancients Of Mu Mu are currently at work in their light industrial unit. This work will not be made public until the 23rd August 2017.
