Das ist ein ziemlicher Hammer. Ich wüsste nicht, dass ich derartiges schon mal gehört habe. Es gab da zwar mal ein Dubtechno-Release, für das sich jemand ältere Loops von Fluxion zusammengeschustert hatte und diese dann als seine eigenen unter CC veröffentlicht hatte, aber das hier hat eine andere Qualität an Dreistigkeit.

Ich hatte hier vor wenigen Tagen das wirklich gute Album „Marionette“, welches Anton Sobolev aka Mzai als sein eigenes bei dem Netabel Dystopiaq abgegeben hatte, die es auch veröffentlicht hatten. Das ging ziemlich gut rum im Netz, auch weil es überdurchschnittlich gut war. Wie sich jetzt allerdings rausstellt, sind einige der Tracks nicht von Mzai, sondern von einem anderen Produzenten, der von der VÖ nichts wusste.

It has been brought to my attention that Dystopiaq has been unintentionally involved in releasing “stolen” or “plagiarized” music. Our most recent release, Mzai’s Marionette, was submitted a few weeks ago by an individual claiming to be a trip-hop artist based out of Russia. However, as of March 7, we are now aware that many songs on this album were stolen from an artist recording under the name Escome and The FlyFox. I have contacted The FlyFox and am currently seeking a means to contact Escome.

I can not force any of you to do this, but I do encourage any Dystopiaq fan who downloaded Mzai to delete their release. If you posted about this release on any website, please do your best to delete any mention of the Mzai release.

If anyone intends on trying to release stolen music on Dystopiaq, you must know that it won’t last for long. We will not tolerate any “artist” who wants to use Dystopiaq as a means to misrepresent art.

Krasse Kiste, wie ich finde!

Hatte ich schon lange hier nicht mehr, aber hey, die Sonne geht mir an den Arsch und mir purzelte soeben dieser schön psy-progressive Mix vor die Füsse. Und das in Kollaboration mit der Sonne verzückt glatt weg meine noch fast eingefrorenen Synapsen.
