Da wird mir ja ein kleines bisschen blümerant, aber die scheinen alle Spaß zu haben.

What sounds like a nightmare for most is still a dream for others; to BASE jump off the world’s second highest residential structure with the most qualified athletes in the world.

SkydiveDubai and XDubai have partnered with DreamJump to bring dreams to extreme reality when they opened the opportunity for limited people from the public to jump using the DreamJump System.

In addition to the dream jumps, a total of 558 BASE Jumps occurred in a matter of just a few days off the Princess Tower in the heart of the Dubai Marina.

Nachts auf einem Kran in Dubai

Roof Climber James Kingston ist nachts auf einen Kran in Dubai gestiegen und auf dem herumspaziert. Keine Ahnung, wie hoch der ist, ich würde da jedenfalls nicht raufklettern. Schöner Burial Remix auch, der da drunter liegt.

World’s Longest Graffiti Scroll

Dubai, November 2014. Über 2200 Meter Mauer und über 100 Maler, die diese unter Farbe bringen. Weltrekord.

The United Arab Emirates were gearing up to celebrate their 43rd year as a country, the Ironlak Family set off towards the Middle East from their respective corners of the globe. In Dubai the Lak Fam joined over 100 artists from around the world in an ambitious attempt to set a new world record for the “World’s Longest Graffiti Scroll”.

Titled ‘Rehlhatna’, meaning ‘Our Journey’, the main feature of the event was a ridiculously long canvas on Jumeirah Beach which was stretched into the shape of the country. The artists were asked to create work which reflected the past, present and future achievements of the UAE.

On the final day, an official judge from Guinness World Records measured out the scroll at 2245.4 metres and declared the new world record set.

Ein bisschen Spaß mit ’nem Jetpack über der Wüste Dubais. Die Frage, wie die beiden wohl wieder auf die Erde kommen, wird im Video nicht geklärt, aber vielleicht erfahren wir das ja dann 2015.
