Jean-Michel Jarre ist der erste Passagier, der im KleinVision’s flying AirCar mitfliegen durfte und hat die Musik dazu mal selber beigesteuert. Keine Ahnung, wer und wozu jemand fliegende Autos braucht, aber es gibt sie.

Elektrisches Flugauto erhält Zulassung für Testflüge

Alef Aeronautics gab bekannt, dass ihr elektrisches Flugauto, das „Modell A“, von der Federal Aviation Administration eine Lufttüchtigkeitszertifizierung erhalten hat. Das Auto wird voraussichtlich 300.000 US-Dollar kosten und mit dieser Genehmigung werden begrenzte Tests in der Luft beginnen. Es ist die erste dieser Art. Das Modell A, in dem bis zu zwei Personen Platz haben, bietet eine Reichweite von 200 Meilen und eine Flugreichweite von 110 Meilen. Es wird eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 25 Mailen pro Stunde veranschlagt. The future is now, Flugtaxi is incoming.

It’s the first such approval for a flight-capable car, according to the startup, which has been backed by the likes of SpaceX.

Alef CEO Jim Dukhovny said: „It allows us to move closer to bringing people an environmentally friendly and faster commute, saving individuals and companies hours each week. This is one small step for planes, one giant step for cars.“ …

The company aimed to produce the first flying car with both street driving and vertical take-off capabilities. It’s designed to fit within existing urban infrastructure for driving and parking.

Während man in Russland mit Flugautos noch erste Tests macht, die nur so semigut laufen, baut man in China voll elektrische Flugautos aus Carbon, die zwei Insassen in über 1000 Meter 35 Minuten lang durch die Luft bringen können. Das sowohl autonom als manuell gesteuert. Hier ein Testflug. Die StVO wird da ja wohl kaum greifen. Pilotschein, oder kann das dann jeder?

The eVTOL Xpeng X2 is a fifth-generation flying car developed and manufactured by Xpeng Aeroht. What is new to this new entree is the enclosed cockpit, tear-shaped design, and sci-fi appearance that the company says affects the high-efficient aerodynamics of the flying car to maximize the in-flight performance. Xpeng X2 is fully made in carbon fiber structure to limit its weight and can accommodate two passengers in its compact size. The company states that no carbon emissions are produced during flight because it is all-electric and thanks to its eight rotors, the Xpeng X2 flying car can soar up to 3,200 feet at a speed of up to 130 km/h for around 35 minutes.
