Manch einer mag das vielleicht ein bisschen trivial finden, aber, es tut mir leid, ich steh‘ da voll drauf. HDCOLORS hat mal eben zwei Stunden Ambient mit digitalen Kaleidoskopen zusammengeführt.

Here’s another computationally derivative variation of good old version 1. It looks cool when every frame of the animation is put through a Photoshop Oil Paint filter. Sort of makes it look like a really detailed cartoon. It has a really smooth and organic feel. It’s looks cool. It’s a nice operation to perform on an animation to turn it into something new and beautiful that is slightly different than the original. It’s a different mathematical point of view on the same images. Just experimenting with some frames I had on the hard drive. Running batches on directories full of bitmaps.

Kaleidoskopierte Pferde: Horse Power

Weil es ja heute nicht nichts gibt, was es nicht gibt, hat Vimeo User Ben einfach mal ein paar Gäule kaleidoskopiert und das ganze mit einem spooky Sound versehen. Das wirkt irgendwie merkwürdig bis verstörend. Ich habe es mir aus mir gerade nicht erfindlichen Gründen trotzdem bis zum Ende angesehen und ich kann mit Pferden so rein gar nichts anfangen. Lebewesen mit derart großen Köpfen nämlich sind mir ja schon per se sehr suspekt. Ja.
