Recorded over a European tour with his band throughout the Summer, Mike Skinner tackles living in your mess, ditching the idea of perfection and the undeniable truth that all you can deal with is what you have in front of you in the moment. This video was painstakingly constructed around brutalist concrete buildings throughout Europe over the whole summer, with dozens visited and weaved throughout the video to reflect the lyrical content.

Es lag schon in der Luft, viele hatten es befürchtet, nun ist es wahr geworden: DJ Koze und Dirk von Lowtzow haben gemeinsam eine Single aufgenommen. we explored the possibilities of AI for this new Igorrr music video: “ADHD”. We embraced almost all existing tools, both proprietary and open source, diverting and mixing them with our 3D tools. This video is a symbolic journey into an experimental therapy for treating a patient with ADHD, brimming with nods to “Very Noise”.

30 years later, I’m finally able to bring to life the idea i’ve had for the video since 2017.
I tried many attempts over the years using real 16mm film footage to make a video for the track, none of which I was happy with and all of which have been scrapped.
Everything that I did learn and enjoyed about that, I channeled into this video.
This is probably the closest any of my videos has ever looked to the original vision I had in my head, right down to the textures, transitions and movement.

The quote arrived on my album website after I asked “What do you want to express, which you feel you can’t in everyday life?”. Using thousands of anonymous quotes, my On Being album attempts to capture the experience of being human, now.

This was one of the first quotes from the database that reached out and grabbed my guts and squashed them. I had to tackle it, and I immediately contacted Aho Ssan with the idea, because his approach to music contained some of the intensity and noise elements that I felt were needed to deliver the quote.

It was submitted anonymously, so over the past few years I had a story in my mind about who submitted it and why. But then ahead of the Bristol show I heard from Robbie Evans, the writer of the words, who I met at the show. If any of you submitted any of the words in the project I’d love to hear from you so I can put a face to the name of the words I’ve spent my last 3 years with.
