Wirklich.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A thin liquid film (a.k.a. soap bubble) is contacted with a cold rod which drives the convection. The temperature of the rod is -169 \u00b0C (104 K). The temperature gradient creates motion in the film. The high stretching rates lead to the collapse to Newton Black Film (Thickness of 10 nm &#8211; black spots). These spots are convected in the flow and lead to the exponential conversion of the thick transient soap film to its equilibrium phase (black).<\/p>\n<p>The black phase does not indicate a rupture or hole in the film.
