Damals hatten wir Netlabels, die im Geiste von Creative Commons Musik verschenkten. Heute haben wir Labels, die auch ganz ohne irgendwem im Geiste Musik verschenken. Fuck \u00a9, Fuck CC. Hauptsache Musik unter die Leute bringen. Und wenn es so sein soll, dann eben f\u00fcr umme; Punkt. Punkt und Download.<\/p>\n

Ich hatte die Tage verh\u00e4ltnism\u00e4\u00dfig viele Mails, die nach der Tracklist f\u00fcr meinen „Hofgretchen<\/a>„-Mix fragten. Manche davon beantwortete ich. Eigentlich ist dieser Mix recht einfach gestrickt. Gut die H\u00e4lfte der dort inkludierten Tracks kommen von einer Compi, die von Pragmatic Theory<\/a> ins Netz gepumpt wurde. „Horizons“ hei\u00dft die und wurde auf Bandcamp ver\u00f6ffentlicht<\/a>. Die Nummern sind mit maximal 3 Minuten alle recht kurz, reichen als Mix-Tools allerdings allemal aus, zumal die durchweg gro\u00dfartig sind.<\/p>\n

Damit aber nicht genug. Pragmatic Theory ver\u00f6ffentlichen so gut wie alles auf Bandcamp<\/a>. Meistens f\u00fcr Pay what you want. Und dabei lohnt sich jeder Euro, den auszugeben man bereit ist. Wenn der nicht da ist, geht’s auch ohne. International best\u00fcckt bringen die dort gro\u00dfartiges Zeug aus den Genres Dopebeats, instrumental HipHop, Soul Beats und und und immer den Joint in Griffn\u00e4he. Der Output von denen ist wirklich exorbitant gro\u00dfartig! Und ich lade mich gerade bl\u00f6de. <\/p>\n

UK based label Pragmatic Theory began as a movement for the love & appreciation of music & inspiration from the talent found within the SoundCloud community. In 2012 marked the first compilation being a Curtis Mayfield tribute released as both an album (mcs\/beatmakers) and a beat tape.
