Na huch! Aufgrund eines juristischen Malheurs sind bis vermutlich Donnerstag etliche psychoaktive Substanzen in Irland legal<\/a>. Zumindest der Besitz der selbigen. Der Konsum sowieso. Der Handel damit allerdings wird weiterhin verfolgt. Schuld daran ist eine kuriose Gesetzesl\u00fccke, aufgrund der das irische Bet\u00e4ubungsmittelgesetz von 1977 am Dienstagmorgen von einem Berufungsgericht f\u00fcr verfassungswidrig erkl\u00e4rt. <\/p>\n

H\u00e4tte man aber auch besser timen k\u00f6nnen. Auf ein Wochenende zum Beispiel. H\u00f6h\u00f6!<\/p>\n

An explanatory memorandum issued by the Department of Health said that as a result of the judgment, \u201call substances controlled by means of Government Orders made under section 2(2) cease to be controlled with immediate effect, and their possession ceases to be an offence. These include ecstasy, benzodiazepines and new psychoactive substances, so-called \u2018headshop drugs\u2019.<\/p>\n

It said the judgment had \u201cno implications\u201d for approximately 125 substances, including cannabis, heroin and cocaine.<\/p>\n

In a statement, the Department said: \u201cThere is always a degree of uncertainty about the outcome of court cases. The outcome of this case does not affect existing laws regarding the supply, possession or sale of older drugs such as heroin, cocaine or cannabis.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
