Das Video ist schon älter und zu Unrecht noch nie wirklich weit rumgekommen. Es zeigt Tokio in dichten Nebelschwaden und das sieht ziemlich gut aus, auch wenn die Musik ein wenig nervt.

Nick Steinberg, Fotograf aus San Francisco hat in den letzten Jahren absolut beeindruckende Bilder von Nebelschwaden gemacht, die über San Francisco hinwegziehen. Dafür hat er, so sagt er, nie Photoshop, sondern einzig seine Kamera bemühen müssen.
Recently in my studies of the area I have discovered something amazing! During the summer months, when the fog is created from high amounts of inland heat, it gets too high to shoot in the bay area (including the Golden Gate Bridge) as it is usually above 1,000′ and the bridge sits at 746′. In addition, since it is coming from the Pacific ocean, the coastline is pretty much unshootable. So the only option is to hit up the high vantage points, one of the best being Mt. Tamalpais, which sits at 2,572′. Mt. Tam allows you to get, “above it all” and is literally heaven on earth as you feel on top of the world or almost on an airplane looking down on clouds. What I discovered from hundreds of trips up there is, when the fog rolls through and is at the perfect height and density, it will create wave-like movements as it contours the land. This is where I coined the term “Fog Waves” as it literally looks like waves that resemble the ocean.

Reginald Schmidt hat in Island diesem doch wohl ungewöhnlichen Naturschauspiel bewohnen können. Nebelschwaden, die eine Klippe wie Wasser heruntergleiten.
Captured this whilst hiking the cliffs in Látrabjarg. This came across as an anomaly where it seems that the fog was flowing down like a waterfall.

Hier ist Winter, wir haben 10°C, die ersten Bäumchen tragen Knospen. Von mir aus kann dann jetzt auch Sommer kommen. Für das, was hier einst der Winter war bleiben uns ja immerhin Videos wie dieses hier. In Sibirien nämlich ist alles wie immer. Die haben Winter und unter -40°C. Und was passiert eigentlich, wenn man bei der Kälte draußen einfach mal das Fenster einer außerordentlich gut durchgeheizten Stube öffnet? Das hier, wenn man dem Video Glauben schenken kann. Ich würde das glatt selber mal probieren, aber dafür fehlen aktuell -40°C. Vielleicht ein anderes Mal.
