Forgotten Town – A story of early German Hardcore Techno

Nebst charmanter Storys.

Forgotten Town – This is a Portrait about DJ B.A. and the legacy of the Hardcore Techno Mag called Hakke from the east German city Chemnitz.

It’s about a missing part of the early German Techno history. This film is telling the story how it started for B.A. and all the Hakke founders.

Inoffizielles Musikvideo zu Aphex Twins „The Waxen Pith“

30 years later, I’m finally able to bring to life the idea i’ve had for the video since 2017.
I tried many attempts over the years using real 16mm film footage to make a video for the track, none of which I was happy with and all of which have been scrapped.
Everything that I did learn and enjoyed about that, I channeled into this video.
This is probably the closest any of my videos has ever looked to the original vision I had in my head, right down to the textures, transitions and movement.

If you’ve been out on a summer’s evening and saw flashes of fireflies, or lightning bugs as some people call them, and for a moment you thought that when you were younger there seem to be a lot more of them, well don’t worry you’re not seeing things. Well actually you should worry because you’re not seeing things because all around the world people are reporting that they’re seeing fewer fireflies. ….Decline is because of all the artificial light that we use at night. You can see how much it’s increased over the last 75 years and that’ll kill the vibe.

Chicago 1930s in Color, Rare Glimpse in Depression-Era [60fps, Remastered]

I colorized, restored, and created sound design for this rare video of Chicago in the 1930s. You can see what’s going on in the city during the day, offers a unique glimpse into daily life in the Depression-Era and showcasing the bustling streets, vintage cars, and historic architecture.

Video Restoration Process:
✔ FPS boosted to 60 frames per second
✔ Image resolution boosted up to HD
✔ Improved video sharpness and brightness
✔ Colorized only for the ambiance (not historically accurate)
✔added sound only for the ambiance
✔restoration:(stabilisation,denoise,cleand,deblur)

Please, be aware that colorization colors are not real and fake, colorization was made only for the ambiance and do not represent real historical data.

Video: Max Cooper – When I Sit Alone. In My Thoughts. I Am Crushed.

The quote arrived on my album website after I asked “What do you want to express, which you feel you can’t in everyday life?”. Using thousands of anonymous quotes, my On Being album attempts to capture the experience of being human, now.

This was one of the first quotes from the database that reached out and grabbed my guts and squashed them. I had to tackle it, and I immediately contacted Aho Ssan with the idea, because his approach to music contained some of the intensity and noise elements that I felt were needed to deliver the quote.

It was submitted anonymously, so over the past few years I had a story in my mind about who submitted it and why. But then ahead of the Bristol show I heard from Robbie Evans, the writer of the words, who I met at the show. If any of you submitted any of the words in the project I’d love to hear from you so I can put a face to the name of the words I’ve spent my last 3 years with.
