Heute ist zwar nicht Montag, dafür aber 1. Mai, der für mich in früheren Jahren sehr viel wichtiger war. Heute lieber ein Eis in der Sonne und gechillt in den Abend kommen. Es reicht, dass das Kind nach Kreuzberg fährt.

Und Punk kann man dank dieses Sorbets trotzdem hören. Løve & Klotz von Blammo schießen mich damit ein bisschen in meine Jugend zurück. Mag ich sehr – fast ganz ohne Elektronik. Trotzdem gut.

Alles schmilzt. Ich lege mich mal fest und behaupte, der lange Winter ist endlich vorbei. Ich habe mir passend dazu noch schnell eine Grippe eingefangen und verbringe die Stunden aktuell mit Tee auf der Couch. Aber so ein bisschen mag ich dennoch schon am kommenden Sommer schnuppern und das geht mit der aktuellen Selektion von Djanzy ganz hervorragend. Irie, irie.

Mixtape: Striped #33 – bīsu

Ich war gestern witterungsbedingt im Homeoffice und der Algorithmus hatte mir dafür dieses Mixtape von bīsu vorgeschlagen – und der lief dann bis in den Abend in Dauerschleife.

As a meerkat fan, promoter, and producer, and through his collective Rebellion der Träumer, bīsu has become an integral part of the scene.

Our dear Johannes has been busy with his laptop while traveling, bringing us an episode recorded directly above the clouds on the way to India and in the rattling trains of the subcontinent.

It has become a true „vacation mode“ podcast episode—the perfect antidote to those gloomy, cold winter thoughts. Bisu has dug deep into his digital luggage and brought along a collection of curious internet snippets, leading us straight into the deep (and sometimes unfathomable) rabbit holes of his personal algorithm.

Do you remember? [Indie playlist]

Ich habe hier gerade zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben mit doppelseitigem Klebeband eine 64er Versatz-Blümchentapete verklebt. Fragt nicht. Dabei hat mir der Algorithmus diese Playlist angemacht, die währenddessen gelaufen ist, was super funktioniert hat, wobei ich so gar nichts daraus kenne. Aber lief so gut, dass ich jetzt dazu gleich noch zwei Arten Lasagne machen werde. Eine mit Fleisch, die andere vegan. Genießt den Sonntag. Bis Morgen. Wie geil ist das Thumbnail des Videos?
