Short Patch experiment with a few new modules, including the Mutant BD9, Mutant Snare, Pico Drums x 2, running through various effects. The main CV modulation sources in the patch are the Modcan Quad LFO, and the new Control Forge module by Rossum Electro which was used to create a fast quick modulation bursts to the Amp decay Pitch etc on the BD9. Drones via the Music Thing Radio Music, playing a feedback drone wave going through the Tiptop Z-DSP „Halls of Valhalla card, program 7.
I ran the BD9 through the new black hole DSP module by Erica Synths, and the Mutable Instruments Clouds running a unreleased firmware, and finally some Rainmaker X 2 for the snare processing, pitch delays. There is also a bit of Z-DSP, Eventide H9, AD Reverb, OWL, and ErbVerb too. Enjoy, download to the audio file below. :-)

Trailer: Sausage Party

Scheint mir eine ziemlich amüsante Angelegenheit zu werden, diese Sausage Party. Animationskino für Erwachsene. Ab 18. August im Kino. Hier der Trailer auf deutsch.

Der Film Sausage Party erzählt von Lebensmitteln die bei einem Einkauf am amerikanischen Unabhängigkeitstag von einem Kunden im Supermarkt ausgewählt wurden. Doch die Geschichte beginnt bereits weit vor dem 4. Juli, denn einige der Artikel, wie beispielsweise die Hot-Dog Würstchen sind einige Zeit davor aus dem Regal gefallen und begaben sich so, ganz ungewollt auf eine Reise durch den Supermarkt.

Colorado: THC im Trinkwasser

Jeder kennt diese Idee, LSD ins Trinkwasser zu kippen. In der kleinen Stadt Hugo, Colorado, hat das jetzt wer mit THC gemacht, dem Wirkstoff in Cannabis. Gesundheitlich nicht wirklich in bedenklicher Konzentration, die Behörden empfehlen aber dennoch, das Wasser vorerst nicht mehr zu trinken. Die alltägliche Hygiene wie Duschen und Zähneputzen sei aber kein Problem.

On Thursday afternoon, authorities notified the town of about 800 people that the water should not be drunk, used to cook with or even to bathe. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment later downgraded the warning — it was safe to shower, brush teeth and do laundry with the tap water. Ingestion remained inadvisable.

There have not been reports of health issues linked to Hugo’s water, according to an AP report. Nor did every Colorado local seem terribly distraught by the idea of a cool glass of THC.

“I might have to go drink some water,” Patsie Smith, the former mayor of Hugo, quipped to the Denver Post.
