Neue Arbeit von Denis Shiryaev, für die er dieses Mal eine alte Filmaufnahme aus San Francisco durch neuronale Netze quasi filmisch geupdatet hat.

Upscaled with neural networks trip down Market Street, San Francisco, 1906. This film was shot on April 14, 1906, just four days before the San Francisco earthquake and fire which killed an estimated 3 000 people and destroyed over 80% of the city of San Francisco.

✔ Image resolution boosted up to 4k (ESRGAN);
✔ Improved video sharpness;

Ich verfolge schon länger das, was Denis Shiryaev mit alten Filmaufnahmen anstellt. Diese lässt er durch neuronale Netze in die Jetztzeit holen, um diese alten Aufnahmen an heutige Sehgewohnheiten anzupassen. Und da haben wir dann halt Aufnahmen aus New York, die dort im Jahr 1911 entstanden sind, mit heutigen Qualitätsstandards – und das ist ziemlich geil, wie ich finde.
