Brandalism ist ein Kollektiv welches es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht hat vor allem Werbung in den Grosstädten zu vandalisieren. Es trifft sich irgendwo zwischen Graffiti Kunst, Vandalismus und Streetart. 26 Künstler aus 5 Ländern gehören im Moment der Gruppe an die auf einer Tour in 5 Städten Werbespace zurückerobert. Die Gallerie zeigt bereits einige grossartige „Schändungen“.

Der Dailymail hat eine interessante Photoreportage über die Vorbereitungen zu den Olympischen Spielen in London. Wie seit Jahrhunderten bekannt, stehen die Olympischen Spiele ja im Zeichen von Frieden unter den Nationen – da muss man natürlich gehörig aufrüsten um den Frieden sicherzustellen – Armee im Inneren aktivieren und Flugabwehrraketen auf und in der Nähe von Wohnhäusern errichten. Das setzt deutliche Friedenssignale.

Ich beiße mich ein bisschen in den Arsch dafür, dass ich nicht da sein konnte aber Oma sagt immer, man könne nur auf einer Hochzeit tanzen. Das ist alles auch nur halb so schlimm, denn die Echochamber aus der Konserve gibt es auch als Download auf seinem Tumblelog… Für die traurigen Gestalten wie mich, die nicht dabei waren. :(

2 KommentareThe video uses stop motion, time lapse and light drawing techniques that Matt has been using in photography. The video is shot on Bodmin Moor near a village called Minions and casts the story around the stone circles or “hurlers”. Matt wanted to juxtapose the ancient with the modern for maximum effect with the music dancing on the screen to capture the key elements of the track. With many pairs of hands to help and a hired generator, the video took 8 hours to shoot with a series of different shots using different lights and then the sunset which reversed to make look a sunrise.
