Artiaga blieb dabei verhältnissmäßig locker und spielte einfach weiter.

Bei Steam gibt es mit „Low-Budget Repairs“ demnächst ein Videospiel, das jedem von uns die Möglichkeit gibt, ganz gepflegt am Bau zu pfuschen. Da sehe ich mich, denn wenn ich etwas auf den Baustellen Berlins erfahren konnte, dann, dass auch pfuschen gelernt sein will.

In this video two AI Warehouse agents named Albert and Kai learn to play Tag against each other. The AI were trained using Deep Reinforcement Learning, a method of Machine Learning which involves rewarding the agent for doing something correctly, and punishing it for doing anything incorrectly. Albert and Kai’s actions are controlled by Neural Networks that are updated after each attempt in order to try to give Albert and Kai more rewards and less punishments over time.

[Update] aus den Kommentaren: “Das ist nicht jemand, sondern ein Programm. TAS steht für „tool assisted speedrun“. Mit der Software werden die Controller-Eingaben einprogrammiert und auf die Millisekunde genau abgespielt. Dafür gibt es in der speedrun Szene eigene Kategorien.”
Da hat sich jemand sehr, sehr viel Zeit genommen und es nach wahrscheinlich Millionen Stößen geschafft, im Wii Billard-Game alle Kugeln mit nur einem Stoß versenkt. Da kann man schon mal klatschen. Hat ja “nur” 17 Jahre gedauert.

Einen Kommentar hinterlassenAm Abend wurden Polizeibeamte der Polizeiwache Bornheim (Kreispolizeibehörde Bonn) eilig nach Bornheim-Walberberg gerufen. Dort hatte ein Spaziergänger hysterische Schreie und Hilferufe aus einer Wohnung gehört und über den Notruf die Polizei alarmiert. Die Beamten konnten die betreffende Wohnung rasch ermitteln. Statt der zu befürchtenden Szenerie trafen sie jedoch auf ein sichtlich überraschtes Elternpaar. Diese konnten dann berichten, dass keine Notsituation vorgelegen habe; jedoch habe der 14-jährige Sohn kurz zuvor, scheinbar wenig siegreich, eine Party “Fortnite” auf dem Computer gespielt und sich hierbei so sehr aufgeregt, dass er lautstark geschrien habe. Die Eltern versprachen den Beamten, das Geschehen mit dem Sohn nachzubereiten; dieser hatte sich nämlich schlagartig beruhigt und schlief bereits in seinem Bett.

Husqvarna bietet von April bis September 2024 ein Software-Update für ein paar ihrer Rasenmähroboter an, mit dem es sich auf jenen Robotern dann Doom zocken lässt. Keine Ahnung, ob das Leute dazu bewegen wird, so ein Ding zu kaufen, aber wer schon eines hat, kann dann halt zocken. Mit einem weiteren Update kommt Doom dann wieder weg. Kein schlechter PR Schachzug.
