Schöne Story, ganz gleich ob Fake or Real. Irgendwo in den Staaten kam ein junger Autofahrer mit seinem Gebrauchten in eine Werkstatt und beschwerte sich dort darüber, dass sein iPhone im Kassettendeck nicht laufen und sogar auch noch das Display zerkratzen würde. Ist ja auch blöd. Beides.

Unabhängig davon allerdings hatte schon irgendwer im Jahre 2008 sein olles Alpine-Tapedeck im Auto iPod-fähig gemacht. Vielleicht kannte der obige Fahrer dieses Video. Man weiß es nicht genau.

Bakterien auf Smartphones

An der University of Surrey in Guildford, England haben sie mal Bakterien großgezogen, die sich so auf und in unseren Smartphones so finden. Na lecker. Aber vielleicht haben die Beamten, die hier massenhaft und ohne richterlichen Beschluss Telefone beschlagnahmt haben, da auch was von.

These shocking pictures show the hundreds of bacteria – some of which can cause skin infections – which can thrive in the crevices of your MOBILE phone.

The photos were taken by students at the University of Surrey during an experiment and made public for the first time today.

The young scientists put their phones in petri dishes containing agar, a nutrient rich substance which encourages bacterial growth, and monitored what happened over a period of three days.

They found that most of the bacteria was harmless, however they did discover some traces of staphylococcus aureus, which can cause skin infections.

Boffins suspect staphylococcus aureus may have ended up on the devices after someone had picked their nose – as it often originates from human nostrils.

Tsung Chih-Hsien hat eine Nachlade-Batterie für Smartphones entwickelt, die biologisch abbaubar und somit wegwerfbar ist: Mini Power. Scheint mir bisher nur ein Design-Konzept zu sein, das allerdings unbedingt umgesetzt gehört.
