Ein altes Hospital, gebaut 1925, verlassen seit über 20 Jahren. Für mich etwas viel Tone-Mapping und HDR-Schnulli, aber die Stimmung ist trotzdem sehr gut wahrzunehmen. Zusammengesetzt wurde das Video aus 35000 Fotos, die in einem Zeitraum von 7 Monaten aufgenommen wurden.

Opened in 1925, the Asylum closed down and was abandoned nearly 21 years ago. Rooms remain untouched – left as they were when the last of the employees departed. These buildings stand as a testament to the horrors and miss treatment that patients had to endure during the time of its operation.

Superschöne 3D Animation von Ion.

This is a small animation a did as an exercise to experiment and explore all the graphical possibilities of representing the idea of the SPHERE, always thinking in searching Gestalt and form. Its all done in 3d, but i was more interested in the graphical interest, flatten the surfaces, and only two colors, why more.The most difficult was to achieve the transitions between the different type of representation of the sphere, the morphing and metamorphosing.

Irgendwie simple und dennoch sehr beeindruckende Animation von Matthias Müller, die stark an Bildschirmschoner erinnern. Aber was für welche!

Ich glaube, dass diese fantastischen Fotografien von Jeff Devine vor einem halben Jahr schon mal rumgereicht wurden. Ich glaube sogar, dass ich die hier schon mal hatte, auch wenn die Suchfunktion „nein“ sagt. Wie auch immer, ich bin eben über die Fotostrecke von Devine gestolpert, die Surfer und ihr Leben an allen möglichen Stränden des Planeten zeigt. Mir wird dabei etwas fernwehig. Und wenn ihr das schon kennt: Bitte gehen Sie weiter, hier gibt es nichts zu sehen.
