On March 29th, while the northeastern U.S. was covered in clouds, a partial solar eclipse was visible from Quebec. Observers there witnessed a rare „double sunrise“ effect as the partially eclipsed sun rose above the horizon. Faint traces of the solar corona were also visible, creating a striking and unusual sight.
