Ein Flug vom Burj Khalifa mit den Augen eines Adlers

Weltrekord. Darshan, ein Seeadler, ist gestern für eine gute Sache mit einer Kamera auf dem Rücken vom Burj Khalifa, dem höchsten Gebäude der Welt, geflogen.

Darshan the white-tailed eagle made history on Saturday breaking the world record for the highest bird flight off a man-made structure.

A group called the Freedom Conservation strapped a Sony ActionCam Mini him and captured his 2,722-foot descent off the Burj Khalifa in Dubai to help raise awareness about the endangered species.

The charity works in partnership with both SOS (Save our Species) and UNESCO, and the stunt was also broadcast live on BBC News.

“I’m really proud of the bird,” his trainer, Jacques-Olivier Travers told Khaleej Times. “Today was really perfect. I really think that anyone who saw these shots will never think of eagles again in the same way.”

Here’s video of the first test run of #Fury325 at Carowinds from a riders point of view! The coaster was tested late Wednesday afternoon, March 4. Debuting this spring, Fury 325 will be the world’s tallest & fastest giga coaster. The thrill ride stands 325 feet tall with an 81-degree initial drop and reaches breathtaking speeds of 95 miles per hour. Fury 325 is part of a planned $50 million multi-year expansion at the Charlotte, NC park.

Eclectic Method mischt die „Against the Clock“-Videos von FACT zu einem Track

Eclectic Method, der eigentlich für drölfhundert Audio-Video-Remixe bekannt ist, hat sich durch die uns aller insgeheim liebsten Online-Serie für Producer geklickt und aus den dort gezeigten Videos einen ganz eigenen Track gemischt. Eclectic Method remixt sich durch FACTs „Against the Clock“.

FACT hat dazu ein Interview mit dem in Barcelona lebenden Jonny Wilson.

Eclectic Method is a producer who works with audio and video. He’s based in Barcelona and his renowned remixes, which often focus on re-imagining pop culture, have appeared on The Colbert Report and CNN. He’s also performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon with Chuck D, Questlove and Clyde Stubblefield.

Turns out he loves Against the Clock, and made a track that samples every single episode to date.
