Der Filmemacher Jordan Studdard wollte schon als Kind in New York leben. Nachdem er nun schon seit ein paar Jahren dort ist, schuf er eine Hommage an den Big Apple mit einem wandgroßen Stadtplan. Gespickt mit winzigen Lichtern, um die Orte zu markieren, die durch die Filme und Fernsehsendungen, die ihn inspirierten, berühmt wurden. DIY und ziemlich schön umgesetzt.

Dort nämlich haben Bahnmitarbeiter geheime Wohnungen in Bahnhöfe gebaut, die bis dahin ungenutzte Büroflächen waren. Auch eine Variante mit dem Wohnraummangel umzugehen. Doof: sie wurden erwischt und gefeuert.

Einen Kommentar hinterlassenEvan und Katelyn haben sich aus einem vierbeinigen Roboter einen Furby in der Größe eines Hundes gebaut und gehen zum „Gassi gehen“ mit dem durch einen Park. Weiß jetzt gerade nicht, wie ich und mein Hund auf das creepy Geschöpf reagieren würden.
My original plan was to cover it in fur, make it look like a cat, and see if she liked it. Even though Joobie wasn’t interested, at this point, we had kind of become attached to the idea of covering it in fur. And since it was already kinda creepy, we thought we’d just lean into that even more, and turn it into a walking, talking Furby.
