Panzer gegen Tesla

• WW2 veteran Ken, 98, in the tank.

„Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, is using his immense power to support the far-right in Europe, and his money comes from Tesla cars

Well I’ve got this message for Mr Musk. We’ve crushed fascism before and we’ll crush it again“

Synthesizer – Fluch oder Seegen? (1983)

„For me it’s something of a dream machine“ – Peter Gabriel.

Andy Batten-Foster interviews futurist Ray Hammond and former Genesis frontman Peter Gabriel about the impact that the synthesizer is having on popular and classical music. What long-term effects will it have on the way music is produced?

Gabriel believes that the convenience and efficiency of synthesizers will enable artists to put greater emphasis on imagination, and less on the more time-consuming technical aspects of music production. He also feels that the synthesizer will make music far more accessible to people of all skill levels.

Hammond, on the other hand, feels that the synthesizer poses a genuine threat to session musicians, and session drummers in particular.

I’ve wanted to do this for the longest time — in fact, back in my undergrad days, I used to carry around a GitHub Gist to store such ideas, and an entry for this one dates back to Feb 16 2020. That’s five years! Anyway, for the longest time we never had the right technology to pull this off in a cost-effective, near-realtime manner. However, late last month, with OpenAI’s gpt-4o-mini-tts, we finally have the resources to do it! I envision a future where gpt-4o-mini-tts-like software is integrated on the edge — that is, edge LLMs. When that happens, next-generation gaming consoles will leverage such technology, opening up a whole universe of possibilities in gaming, especially in sports-simulation titles. Hope you have a blast tinkering with this game and its source code!

102,974 Menschen singen „Bohemian Rhapsody“

Pub Choir tackled the world’s hardest song, included EVERY note, and the result is magnificent. This cover of Bohemian Rhapsody was recorded phrase by phrase at every Pub Choir show since 2022. Watch the audience number grow up the top of the screen.

Flugmoped

This „superbike for the skies“ is powered by jet propulsion and is designed to carry one person with speeds up to 200km/h or 124mph.

The Airbike’s proprietary stabilization system enhanced by a flight computer provides automatic hover and ease of control for its rider.
