Eigentlich unspektakulär, aber dennoch auf irgendwie wundersame Weise faszinierend. Finde ich. Sieht man ja auch nicht all Tage, derartiges.

Neulich erst stieg dieser Bär hier auf die Rücksitzbank eines SUV, wobei ich schrieb, dass ich eigentlich darauf wartete, dass das Tier die Tür hinter sich schließen würde, was es nicht tat.
Anders als sein Kollege, der bei diesem SUV direkt auf den Fahrersitz stieg und die Tür schloss. Doof nur: von innen bekam er die Tür dann nicht mehr auf und war auf die Hilfe eines Menschens angewiesen.

We had just finished unloading the car and were standing by the window overlooking the driveway, when my mom saw a bear coming down the street. We all ran to the window with our phones to take photos and videos to capture the moment, when all of a sudden he unexpectedly bee-lined for the car. He opened the car door with his paws, hopped in, and the car door shut behind him. Panic ensued, as we tried to figure out what to do. My husband ran out and opened the car door from the porch. He came face to face with the bear in the passenger side. The bear finally got out after about two minutes in the car, and thankfully walked off.“
So ähnlich sehe ich aus, wenn ich mich über unerwartet leckeres Essen freue.

In einer russischen Molkerei setzen sie ihren Kühen VR-Brillen auf, um so die Milchproduktion zu steigern. Die Brillen wurden wohl speziell für diese Milchkühe entwickelt, um ihre Bedingungen zu verbessern und ihnen zu ermöglichen, sich zu entspannen so dass sie mehr Milch produzieren. Beim Tragen der Brillen, so stellten Experten fest, haben die Kühe weniger Angst und die allgemeine Stimmung der Herde stieg an. Die Virtual-Reality-Architekten entwarfen auch ein Programm zur Simulation grüner Sommerfelder. Nun wird überlegt, ähnliches auf andere Tierzuchtbetriebe auszuweiten. Weird world.
These VR goggles were carefully designed by developers in a VR studio, alongside veterinarians. Taking into account the structural features of the cows‘ heads, the typically human-fitting VR goggles were adapted to work for cows.
The team ensured to create VR views that work with a cow’s vision, for instance, their higher perception of the color red but weaker tones of blue and green were taken into account. The virtual reality architects also designed a unique program for simulating green summer fields.
A Moscow farm has decided to equip its cows with VR glasses in order to relax and feel happier. A calm environment leads to an increase in milk yield, so the cows are given a VR headset displaying summer fields.
