In Russland besprühten irgendwelche Idioten einen Eisbären mit dem Graffito „T-34“, das für ein sowjetisches Panzermodell stehen dürfte. Wissenschaftler fürchten nun, dass das Graffiti dem Bären die Tarnung beim Jagen kaputt macht und er deshalb verhungern könnte.
Und falls wer fragen will: Ja, ich finde es macht einen Unterschied, ob man eine S-Bahn, eine Wand oder einen Eisbären besprüht.

Anatoly Kochnev, a senior researcher at the Russian Academy of Sciences, told Russian state news agency RIA Novosti that, while the black paint is likely to wash off, the polar bear might find it difficult in the meantime to use its coat as camouflage while hunting.
It’s not known why the animal was painted. Kochnev said it was probably the work of „pranksters.“

Lili Grace hatte im Frühjahr Koala-Besuch, während sie im Pool war. „Our adorable little ’neighbour‘ pops in for a visit every now and again at our place in the Adelaide hills. Usually this little fella just sits in the tree in our pool area unfazed by anything around it but this time he was keen to come & make friends.“
Einen Kommentar hinterlassenDie Felder von Landwirten in der Region Malnad in Shivamogga, Karnataka, Indien, wurden vermehrt von Affen heimgesucht, die sich dann über die Ernte hermachten. Einer der betroffenen Bauern beschloss, den Affen die Ernte nicht kampflos zu überlassen. Dafür malte er seinem Hund Streifen aufs Fell, damit der Doggo wie ein Tiger aussieht. Außerdem stellte er in seinen Feldern Poster seines als Tiger bemalten Hundes auf. Ob das hilft, die Affen fernzuhalten, bleibt abzuwarten.

Neulich erst stieg dieser Bär hier auf die Rücksitzbank eines SUV, wobei ich schrieb, dass ich eigentlich darauf wartete, dass das Tier die Tür hinter sich schließen würde, was es nicht tat.
Anders als sein Kollege, der bei diesem SUV direkt auf den Fahrersitz stieg und die Tür schloss. Doof nur: von innen bekam er die Tür dann nicht mehr auf und war auf die Hilfe eines Menschens angewiesen.

We had just finished unloading the car and were standing by the window overlooking the driveway, when my mom saw a bear coming down the street. We all ran to the window with our phones to take photos and videos to capture the moment, when all of a sudden he unexpectedly bee-lined for the car. He opened the car door with his paws, hopped in, and the car door shut behind him. Panic ensued, as we tried to figure out what to do. My husband ran out and opened the car door from the porch. He came face to face with the bear in the passenger side. The bear finally got out after about two minutes in the car, and thankfully walked off.“
So ähnlich sehe ich aus, wenn ich mich über unerwartet leckeres Essen freue.
