Das nenne ich mal “Digital Art”: Dries Depoorter scannt mit einer KI seit längerem “Open Cameras” in der Welt und lässt dann per KI in Kombination mit den veröffentlichen Geo-Tags auf Insta checken, wo es welche Gemeinsamkeiten geben könnte und identifiziert so mitunter, wer wann wo welche Fotos gemacht haben könnte. Und zeigt die als Videos. Wow. Demnach können wir uns alle gegenseitig immer beobachten. War ja eh klar, wusste nur bis eben nicht, dass da irgendwer Interesse haben könnte – und finde das am Ende mehr als nur interessant.

How does this work?
1.) Recorded a selection of open cameras for weeks.
2.) Scraped all Instagram photos tagged with the locations of the open cameras.
3.) Software compares the Instagram with the recorded footage.
In UK bekam David Knight automatisierte Post, die ihn darauf hinweisen wollte, einen Verkehrsverstoß begangen zu haben, weil er in Bath auf einer Busspur mit seinem Auto unterwegs gewesen sein sollte. Die CCTV-Fotobeweise des mutmaßlichen Vorfalls zeigten jedoch nicht sein Auto, sondern eine Frau, die in einem T-Shirt mit dem Wort “KNITTER” auf der Busspur lief. Kinghts Nummernschild ist “KN19TER” und das System hat die Fußgängerin anscheinend mit Knights Volkswagen Van verwechselt. Da kann man schon mal ein Knöllchen schicken, klar. ;)

Die Moral von der Geschichte: deine Idee mit dem Hoverboard ganz schnell wieder abzuhauen kann an sich noch so grandios und eine ganz sichere Bank sein, um nicht erwischt zu werden, aber es nützt rein gar nichts wenn die scheiß Kamera dich dabei filmt.
Und dass die Kleine hier klopft anstatt zu klingeln ist total egal.

Skurrile Aufnahmen aus einem Polizeihelikopter, der eine Frau, die einen SUV geklaut haben soll, dabei verfolgt, wie sie den wohl geklauten Wagen auf einer Weide verlässt und dann von einer Horde Kühe verfolgt wird. Warum auch immer. Später wurde sie verhaftet.
A woman accused of stealing a car in Florida had more than just the cops pursuing her. When she got out of the vehicle to flee the scene on foot, she found herself in a pasture in Seminole County, where a herd of cows joined the chase.
Aerial footage from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office helicopter shows the driver of a stolen SUV crash into a stop sign, then get out and begin running. A passenger got out and ran into another pasture, while a second person stayed in the vehicle and was later arrested, CBS Orlando affiliate WKMG reports.
The driver, identified as Jamie Young, ditched the car, but could’t ditch the cops. Investigators watched her every move from the helicopter, including her romp around a field with about 20 cows.
“Actually, a large group of cows is following her for a good visual,” the chopper pilot tells the police officers pursuing Young on the ground. As the pilot tracked the woman and cows, he radioed the law enforcement officers below some details. “Looks like they may attack her,” the pilot describes. “Keep going southeast. She’s pretty far into the field now. If you see the large group of cows, they’re literally following her and chasing her.”
The aerial footage shows the cattle in hot pursuit, as the bovine investigators took matters into their own hooves. At one point, a cow gets so close to Young, it looks like it might gore her, but then it backs off. The animals herd her across the field, where she appears to jump over a fence to escape them.
The woman fled the field and hid in a bush, where officers caught her and put he “udder” arrest.
Keine Ahnung, wo genau dieses Video herkommt, aber es könnte einem Drehbuch entsprungen sein. Zwei Diebe wollen in einem Laden klauen und werden in diesem selber von einem Räuber überrascht. Sie benutzen dann ein Skateboard, um den Räuber zu überraschen, und überlassen dem eigentlich Beraubten eine Wumme, um den letztendlichen Räuber in Schach zu halten. Chaotisch gut.
Und scheint wirklich aus einem Trailer für eine Serie zu kommen. Meh!
Letzte Woche randalierte ein offensichtlich betrunkener Kerl in Seattle auf dem Gelände von KIRO Radio. Die hauseigenen Kameras zeichneten diese Umtriebe auf. KIRO zeigte die Bilder dann John Curley, dem Sportmoderator des Senders, und der machte einfach seinen Job.
