Paar malt in einer Galerie versehentlich über ein $500.000 Kunstwerk

JonOne, ein Graffiti-Künstler aus New York, hat eine seiner Arbeiten in einer Galerie in einem Einkaufszentrum in Südkorea ausgestellt. Irgendwie waren wohl Pinsel und Farben Tweil seines Werks und lagen bzw. standen bei dem Bild. Ein vorbeikommendes Pärchen dachte deshalb wohl, es handle sich um ein partizipatives Kunstobjekt, griff zu den Pinseln und übermalte das 500.000 Dollar teure Bild. Hooopsie.

After staff spotted fresh brushstrokes CCTV footage identified the accidental vandals, a man and woman in their 20s.

The untitled piece is estimated to be worth about $500,000 (£360,000).

It was painted by US graffiti artist JonOne in front of an audience in Seoul in 2016.

It has since been displayed at various venues, along with the paint and brushes used in the live performance – which are regarded as integral parts of the artwork.

Während alle Amateursportstätten der Republik geschlossen haben, definiert man „Sport“ in Leipzig ein kleines bisschen anders und betreibt den offensichtlich trotzdem. Vornehmlich nachts.

Herrlicher Hirnverdreher, dieses 3-D-Graffitis des Künstler Jack Bowers. Er belegte mit seinem Necker-Würfel den siebten von zehn Plätzen beim Optical Illusion Contest 2019.

This video asserts that we must question our assumptions about perspective. The Renaissance helped us understand how we see 3-D distance visually, and today’s science confirms that there is more to the story.

Rocco und seine Brüder sorgen per Wholecar dafür, dass das, was in Erstaufnahmelagern an den EU-Außengrenzen passiert, immer noch real und keineswegs vorbei ist. So schreiben sie im Namen Tifl einen Brief an Ursula von der Leyen, Präsidentin der Europäischen Kommission.

My name is Tifl Saghir. To escape the war and the evil people, my mother took me on a very long journey. She said it will be better in Europe. But we have to stay in a camp with a big fence. Neon Leuchtschrift aus der Dose

Der Graffiti-Artist Adam Fu aka Adam Fukujita malt mit Spraydosen Leuchtreklamen und das ist ganz schön gut.

Adam Fu creates signs and images that trick the eyes into seeing them as neon lights. Each line or spray of paint is placed intentionally to recreate the glow of a real neon light. His work brings a nostalgic feeling from a time when neon signs were popularly used all over the world.
