Kirchen und Kathedralen zählen jetzt nicht unbedingt zu denen von mir bevorzugten Locations, aber dieses Time-Lapse, das Sonnenstrahlen zeigt, die durch das Buntglas der Washington National Cathedral fallen, hat schon etwas leicht Magisches.

Dieser Gentleman hat das „Ich-habe-einhundert-Jahre-lang-jeden-Tag-ein-Foto-meines-Kindes-gemacht-und-will-euch-das-nicht-vorenthalten!“-Game einfach mal komplett durchgespielt und bei sich mit sich auf eine Woche komprimiert.

People had gathered up there this night to get the best view possible of the moon rising. I captured the video from 2.1km away on the other side of the city. It’s something that I’ve been wanting to photograph for a long time now, and a lot of planning and failed attempts had taken place. Finally, during moon rise on the 28th January 2013, everything fell into place and I got my footage.

Ich hatte hier schon so einige Zeitraffervideos von wachsenden Pilzen im Blog, die mir auch heute noch nur selten langweilig erscheinen. Daran, diese Videos zu machen, haben offenbar so einige Fotografen ihre Freuden. Wired hat sich mal genauer angesehen, wie diese Art von Videos gefilmt werden.

Ein paar Jahrzehnte Windowsinstallationsroutine in sechs Minuten. Ich kann mich an die frühen davon noch erinnern, bin aber mit XP aus- und komplett auf OSX umgestiegen. Aus guten Gründen. Aber so ein kleines bisschen Nostalgie schadet ja nie.

Der Dronenfotograf Lior Patel hat ein paar Monate damit verbracht, eine große Schafherde mit der Drone zu begleiten. Ähnliches hatte ich hier schon mal und war davon schon beeindruckt. Patel aber hat die Aufnahmen dann noch gezeitraffert, was die sich bewegenden Schafe wie Flüssigkeiten wirken lässt.
Einen Kommentar hinterlassenFor the past seven months I have been following a large herd of sheep, from winter pasture to the movement and arrival at the summer pasture. The size of the herd ranges from 1000-1700 sheep.
Andre F hat im April 2019 damit begonnen ein Puzzle mit nicht weniger als 42.000 Teilen zusammenzulegen und den 11 Monate andauernden Prozess im Zeitraffer festgehalten. Das Puzzle war am Ende 7.49m x 1.57m groß und er hat insgesamt 500 Stunden daran gesessen. Respekt.

So dramatisch wie in einem Hollywood-Blockbuster, aber eben echt. Beeindruckendes Video von Dustin Farrell.
What you see here is about 6 months of effort boiled down to 3 minutes. 2020 was a tough year for creatives like myself. Commissioned work in the arts took a severe hit. But I made the best of it. All of the time off gave me ample time to chase. So, I chased!!! I chased so much that I needed to buy a new engine for my truck. I chased so much that it took me 2 months to edit all of the raw footage. We captured over 400 shots in the Summer of 2020. 101 shots made this video. I hope you enjoy.
