Während man hier geduldig den trägen Mühlen der Bürokratie dabei zu sieht, wie sie träge mahlen, ist man in Indien da durchaus emotionaler, wenn es um einem wichtige Belange geht. Und wenn das alles zu lange dauert, oder eben – wie das hier ja auch gerne der Fall ist – A nicht weiß, was B so macht, kippt man auch einfach mal zwei Säcke Schlangen auf den Boden des zuständigen Amtes. So dachte auch ein Schlangenbeschwörer in Indien und tat. Ich wäre aber sowas von schnell auf dem nächsten Aktenstand gestanden und hätte hysterisch nach Mutti geschrien.
A snake charmer in India, frustrated by the interminable red tape delaying his snake sanctuary, dumped a bag full of venomous snakes at a local government office in protest.
Hakkul, who lives in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, would often be asked to help trap snakes in the town of Harraiya. He petitioned the government for a plot of land where the snakes he caught could be conserved, and claims his request was approved, but says the local land revenue office has purposely prolonged the process.
