Welch auch merkwürdige Blüten des Techno-Biz in den 90ern sprießen lies, zeigen diese gescannten DJ Trading Cards des Berliner Labels K7Stud!o. Andererseits finde ich die Idee heute doch recht unterhaltsam. Autokarten waren zu der Zeit ja durch und wer mit BPM anstatt mit UPMin stechen konnte, lernte auch ein wenig was. Toll, die jetzt im Netz zu finden. Mit dabei einige Vertreter der damals international renommierten DJ-Kaste. Väth war dabei so etwas wie der Supertrumpf.
The cards themselves were distributed in 1996 by K7Stud!o to promote a roster of burgeoning talent that was slowly but surely on the rise. Most of these artists have now reached what could be described as legendary or mythical status in the club culture world. In the 15 years since these trading cards were created, the rise of the Internet and digital media has increasing made items of such importance a thing of the past. We here at OND are proud to present this collection of classic rave memorabilia…in digital form of course.
