Alle seit 1980 in unserem Sonnensystem entdeckten Asteroiden in der Reihenfolge ihrer Entdeckung beleuchtet.

„View of the solar system showing the locations of all the asteroids starting in 1980, as asteroids are discovered they are added to the map and highlighted white so you can pick out the new ones.
The final colour of an asteroids indicates how closely it comes to the inner solar system.
Earth Crossers are Red
Earth Approachers (Perihelion less than 1.3AU) are Yellow
All Others are Green“

Eine Platte als Kurzfilm: Martyn – Great Lengths

Was man machen kann, wenn man mehr als nur ein Video zu einem Lied machen möchte, zeigt hier Martyn, der sich einfach drei Songs seines Albums „Great Lengths“ nimmt, Pausen einfügt und einen Kurzfilm damit vertont. Schöne Idee, auch wenn mir die ersten 2:30 min gereicht hätten, ich liebe diese Melodie von „Bridge“.

Expanded Timecode Vinyl: Vinyl+

vinyl+ tries to expand timecode vinyl, usually used for digital djing, with visual and interactive elements. This is accomplished by sending the turntables rotational speed and needle position to a processing sketch.
This sketch then generates corresponding visual output on the surface of the vinyl itself. Various scenarios for this kind of setup have been developed. The goal is to merge them into one beautiful strange interactive record.

Pablo Valbuenas Lichtinstallation „Quadratura“

Lichtes Barock, wenn man so will. Ich wette, dass Ding wird uns alle auffressen. Alle!

Quadratura is a term from the Baroque period used to refer to architectural illusions that open up ceilings and walls through the use of trompe-l´oeil techniques, tricks of perception such as anamorphosis, and, in general, by using painting and sculpture.

The installation presented by Pablo Valbuena in ABierto x OBras follows the same principle, but moulds physical using light beams.
