Der inoffizielle Tourneefilm über die Rolling Stones online: „Cocksucker Blues“

„Cocksucker Blues ist ein inoffizieller Film der Exile on Main St.-Tour von Robert Frank, der nie veröffentlicht wurde, da er das Tourneeleben der Stones ungeschminkt mit Sex- und Drogenszenen zeigt und deshalb für ein breites Publikum als ungeeignet erschien. Breites Publikum ist in dem Zusammenhang schon witzig. Die Stones selbst sahen sich auch falsch in Szene gesetzt. Sie fürchteten wohl Konsequenzen oder Imageverlust.“

    Ok …Remember at the time people talked about this film as they would porn…Saw a copy of this in London in a private cinema.It might have been Soho. Never understood what all the fuss was about.Come on this was the era of ‚Behind the Green Door‘ and others.Suppose society wasn’t ready yet.It’s fine as a time piece.I do find it quite interesting because it does give us all an insight into those days.If you were too young to have been around then well believe me it was like this …Remember this was a time when just about all censorship had been all but obliterated .He just enjoy it for what it is…We will never see such a hedonistic time again.
