Über Portugal und Spanien war gestern ein ziemlich großer Meteorit zu sehen, der erst grünlich und dann ganz wunderbar blau leuchtete. Beeindruckendes Naturschauspiel.
Authorities in Viseu, Portugal, told Publico they had been alerted to reports of an object falling in the sky but that they had so far not been able to find whatever it was that came crashing down to Earth. The outlet said the Civil Protection agency initially reported a “meteorite fall” but then retracted that statement.

Die französische Post gibt eine Briefmarke heraus, die das Baguette feiern will und beim Rubbeln einen „Bäckereiduft“ von sich gibt. Die auf den Marken verwendete Tinte enthält Mikrokapseln, die für den Duft sorgen.
The French Post Office has released a scratch-and-sniff postage stamp to celebrate the baguette, once described by President Emmanuel Macron as “250 grams of magic and perfection”.
The stamp, which costs €1.96, depicts a baguette decorated with a red, white and blue ribbon. It has a print run of 594,000 copies.
According to the Parisian shop Le Carre d’encre, which sells it, the stamp has a “bakery scent”. The ink used on the stamps contains microcapsules which provide the fragrance.
