This Blog Rules hat gerade eine krude Liste mit den merkwürdigsten Berufen, die man halt so machen kann. Da sind einige lustige, aber nicht wirklich durchgeknallte Sachen bei. Einer der Jobs allerdings ist so bähbäh, dass ich die darin Arbeitenden so rein gar nicht um ihren Job neide. Den des Armpit Sniffers, des Achselriechers. Hallo Freitag, besser wird es heute nicht mehr.
When we visit the super market to buy deodorants, most of us are drawn in by the lure of colorful packaging and nice scents. However, little do we know that before those bottles hit the shelves, someone needs to make sure they actually do what they are meant to – mask the disconcerting body odour.
This job well, falls in the kitty of armpit sniffers whose responsibility it is to sniff smelly arm pits all days long to ensure that their deodorant is effective.
One would most naturally assume that the pay rate is pretty good and the job markets were really own which probably is the one and only upside to a job like this!
Ein Kommentar Vielleicht merkt man da draußen, dass ich Urlaub habe – da passiert hier weniger. Leider trifft das auf die Tätigkeit meines Readers nicht zu, der immer voller zu werden scheint. Deshalb muss ich hier jetzt mal was machen, was ich eigentlich gar nicht leiden mag; ich packe drei Sachen, die eigentlich alle einen Beitrag für sich verdient hätten, in einen Artikel. 6 KommentareZiemlich geiles Video voll mit Pakour Running, Breakdance und urbaner Akrobatik, aufgenommen irgendwo in Russland. Die Protagonisten in dem Video scheinen aus dem Umfeld von Crazy Bike zu kommen. Mehr geben meine Russischkenntnisse gerade nicht her.

Well, it was Dr. Duncan MacDougall of Haverhill, Massachusetts who first attempted to weigh the human soul. In 1907, he placed 6 dying patients on a homemade scale, which also acted as a bed for the patients. More recently in Dan Brown’s novel, „the Lost Symbol“, there is a segment that explains how „The Institute of Noetic Science“ uses noetics to weigh the human soul. After tests on terminally ill patients, it came across that immediately after death, a person’s weight dropped.
Wenn es nach Woodstock 1969 tatsächlich schon das Choachella Festival gegeben hätte, hätte das dortige Line Up womöglich genau so ausgesehen. Im Choachella Board gibt es noch jede Menge andere Flyerideen für die 70er Jahre.

Melvin the Magical Mixed Media Machine (or just Melvin the Machine) can be described as a Rube Goldberg machine with a twist. Besides doing what Rube Goldberg’s do best – performing a simple task as inefficiently as possible, often in the form of a chain reaction – Melvin has an identity. Actually, the only purpose of this machine is promoting its own identity.
