Neu veröffentlichte Aufnahmen der ROV Hercules, die uns einen kleinen biolumineszierenden Oktopus zeigen, der bisher keinen Namen hat, dafür aber die ihn findenden Meeresbiologen begeistert wie immer. Die müssen ihren Job einfach hart lieben.
Our Corps of Exploration spotted this Casper Octopus “walking” along the seafloor over 2,300m deep at ʻŌnūnui, ʻŌnūiki (Gardner Pinnacles), roughly 500 nautical miles northwest of Oʻahu. This cephalopod was first discovered by NOAA Ship Okeakos Explorer in 2016 in Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument and is still so new to science that they still haven’t been described and given a formal name yet. This tiny tentacled friend has a mantle less than 10 cm (4 inches) wide and lacks fins on the sides of its body and fingerlike cirri on the suckers on their arms- making it part of the incirrate octopus group. Take a look at this adorable deep sea creature and its semi-translucent, shimmering skin that gives us a glimpse inside its bulbous ghosty “Casper” head.

Zweiter Trailer zu Wonka, der am 15. Dezember in die Kinos kommt. Bevor seine Fabrik voller Oompa Loompas war, war Will Wonka nur ein Träumer. „Wonka“ geht zurück zu den Anfängen und erzählt von den Ursprüngen des exzentrischen Chocolatiers. Timothée Chalamet spielt den jungen Willy Wonka neben Calah Lane, Keegan-Michael Key und dem kleinen Hugh Grant. Da geh‘ ich hin.

The lines between subculture and mainstream have long been blurred. Since the 1990s the genre has evolved.Emerging from underground scenes techno has become a mainstream phenomenon with the message: “Be yourself – everything is allowed!” Fetish-wear is now the dress code of a young generation of TikTok ravers who discovered techno on social media. DJs do not only move dance floors but are simultaneously entrepreneurs who need to perform just as well online, as they do on stage.
On this episode of Arts Unveiled, we explore how all of this is changing the way techno music is produced and consumed.
Natürlich nicht wirklich illegal, aber in der LEGO-Community gibt es das Konzept eines „illegalen“ Baus bei dem Methoden angewandt werden, die den traditionellen Konventionen des LEGO-Stapelns widersprechen. Und auf diese Weiße kann man dann eben auch mal ein Rad so stecken, wie es eigentlich nicht angedacht ist. Und das ist eigentlich mehr kreativ als verboten.
In full disclosure, this build is definitley difficult in that final step of assembly. The alignment of the plates must be close to perfect, and even then there’s a lot of struggle to force the pieces into place. The fascinating thing is that ultimately there’s no stress in this build–these are incomplete connections. So in the classic sense this build is VERY illegal, and yet the bricks are 100% fine. It’s just somewhat fragile.
