In 1994 the fighter aviation regiment was disbanded. The aircrafts were moved to Komsomolsk-on-Amur, where a storage base was equipped, but later all of them were disposed off. But two MiG-23s, one combat aircraft and one combat trainer, were left in hangars at the Smirnykh, where they remain to this day…

Ich habe gerade darüber nachgedacht, ob ich Pläne für das Wochenende habe. Heute was kochen, Morgen zu einem Geburtstag, wofür ich heute noch etwas besorgen müsste. Dabei habe ich vorhin auf diesen Mix geklickt, den Basicnoise für Primary [colours] gemacht hat und dachte so, „Na huch, ewig keinen Dubtechno mehr gehört“ und irgendwie direkt darin verfangen. Mein Plan fürs Wochenende jetzt also: Kochen, Geburtstag, Dubtechno.

A digital clock that uses sliding frames to conceal certain segments of the digits.
Every minute, the frames move in a synchronized manner to display the current time.
The clock is powered by a microprocessor that controls eight small stepper motors. A battery-backed real-time clock (RTC) module keeps track of the time.
(And no, it’s not nearly as loud in reality. I failed to adjust the sound level when I tried to use noise reduction to eliminate the background noise from the recording.)
