My attempt at drumming through TOOL’s discography in one take. I want to thank my family and friends for the endless support! I also want to thank everyone else for taking the time to share this experience with me. I have definitely gained a greater level of appreciation for the compositional work of Danny Carey and TOOL. Although I do not do Danny complete justice, being able to move past mistakes is something I learned. While I wish I could go back to fix things, I also feel a sense of accomplishment being able to complete something that was once just an idea. Additionally, I want to note that only songs with percussive elements were included. Sweat and Disgustipated were not included for copyright reasons.

Bei Dawn Chorus sammeln sie ziemlich umfangreich Aufnahmen von Vogelgesängen aus der ganzen Welt. Ich habe mich gerade mal eben durch die Vogelstimmen der Nachbarschaft geklickt und ja, kommen mir ziemlich bekannt vor.
Kaffee hab‘ ich, Spliff lasse ich weg und eigentlich ist das eher was für einen gediegen entspannten Sonntag, obwohl wir erst Freitag haben. Aber: Mac Miller geht ja eh immer. Immer immer.

Aus den ziemlich fantastischen The MUTE Series, „a collection of one-take microfilms that report on the vagaries of human behaviour.” Für die jeweiligen Filme gelten immer drei Regeln: kein Dialog, keine Kamerabewegungen, nur eine Aufnahme.

David Charney hat mit „Alphabet Moon“ eine Website erstellt, auf der man jedes beliebige Wort eingeben können, das dann anhand einer Reihe von Fotos von Mondmerkmalen in der Form des jeweiligen Buchstabens darstellt. Außerdem werden die Details hinter jedem Mondmerkmal erläutert und der Standort dargestellt. Leider läuft die Seite aktuell nicht sonderlich stabil, so dass ich diverse Male aktualisieren musste.
