Chaos-Pandas mögen das Aufräumen nicht

Eine Tierpflegerin versucht, anfänglich ziemlich motiviert, Ordnung in ein Pandagehege im chinesischen Sichuan zu bringen. Die beiden dort lebenden Pandajungen hingegen wollen einfach nur spielen. Wer braucht schon Ordnung?!

Schlange leert Vogelnest

Nichts für Vogelfreunde und Menschen, die Schlangen nicht mögen. Somit auch nicht für mich. Aber als das Biest in die Kamera kam, war es schon zu spät. Bah, jetzt schüttelt es mich.

Affe klaut einem Faultier das Futter

Klassischer Fall von Mundraub. Exakt das selbe Gesicht wie das bestohlene Faultier mache ich übrigens, wenn mir jemand sein Stück Pizza vom Teller stibitzt. Vor allem muss es jetzt wieder den beschwerlichen Weg zum Buffet auf sich nehmen.

Vogel fliegt in Radarkontrolle

In Zweibrücken ist heute morgen ein Vogel im Tiefflug und mit 43 km/h an einem Radarwagen vorbeigeflogen und wurde dabei geblitzt. Da er kein KFZ-Kennzeichen trug, dürfte eine Identifikation eher schwierig werden. Wobei Geschwindigkeitsgrenzen für Vögel ja eh nicht gelten. Die Polizei Pirmasens glaubt, einen Papagei erkannt zu haben. Ob dem so ist, kann ich schwer sagen.

Sollte mittlerweile um die sieben Monate alt und hoffentlich gesund sein.

Our giant panda cubs‘ eyes are now partially open! This milestone can take place anywhere between six to eight weeks of age. Their eyes are sensitive to both light and dark, however they cannot yet see clearly. Their vocalizations are also changing and becoming stronger each day. Both cubs are now over 2,000 grams and they average 48 centimetres in length from the tip of their head to tip of their tail!

Ein Miniatur Jurassic Park für eine Schildkröte

Oliver Turpin hat seiner Schildkröte einen kleinen Jurassic Park gebaut. Wo Schildkröten halt so leben können.

„I made a minature Jurassic Park for my Leopard Tortoise Louie. It has grazing areas with seeds planted to grow as the weather gets better, a pool for him to drink/swim about in, visitors center and the Jurassic Park Gates.“
