Hund frisst 4000 Dollar

Cayton Law aus Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, hinterließ auf seiner Küchentheke einen Umschlag mit 4000 US-Dollar in bar als Bezahlung für Bauunternehmer, die an seinem Haus arbeiteten. Als er zurückkam, fand er den Familienhund, Cecil, der auf Dollar-Scheinen herum kaute. Wahrscheinlich das teuerste Mahl des Hundelebens. Ein Tierarzt holte die kaputten Scheine aus dem Hund.

„Just trying to find numbers, we’d recover something from something he left in the yard and say oh my gosh, we have a 6 for the serial number. And try to get that taped on,“ Carrie Law said. „We had to have the majority of the serial number on both sides and the bank said if you tape it, that would help. So, I brought everything in a plastic bag and brought gloves for them.“

Am Ende verlor das Paar nur 500 Dollar. Cecil geht es gut. Mit Karte wäre das nicht passiert.

Ich schrieb hier ja schon öfter, dass einfach jeder – egal, ob Mensch oder Tier – mit Capybaras chillen will (außer Pelikane) und ich schließe mich da ausdrücklich mit ein.

But there’s something special about the Capybara’s in Japan’s Izu Shaboten Zoo – here they live a pampered life, drawing crowds of people to see them.

Bussard will an Kätzchen

Krasse Aufnahme. Schätze, ohne Scheibe wäre das Kätzchen nicht mehr da.

I was parked in McDonald’s parking lot in LOS ANGELES (Ladera Heights) drinking my coffee and this giant hawk came from nowhere and landed on my windshield. It’s saw my baby kitten from who knows how far away, tried to atrack it through glass and wouldn’t leave even as i drove away through the strip mall. Someone at the home depot nearby saw it on my hood as I was driving it around the strip mall said it was a pigeon hawk but i confirmed its actually a Red Tailed Hawk.

Elefant auf der Suche nach Futter bricht Touri-Bus auf

Könnte sein, dass der Maut fordernde Elefant durchaus beängstigend wirkt. Würde zumindest mir so gehen. Aber Hunger macht ja bekanntlich übellaunig.

A tourist van was charged at by an elephant that suddenly emerged from the bush in Sri Lanka yesterday (December 11th).

The event took place at Culp Temple Road inside the Yala National Park, as a tour van was driving to the Situlpauwa temple and was ambushed by a notorious elephant named Nitra.

Nitra stopped the vehicle and searched the passenger area for food items with its trunk. After a short while the driver was able to speed off with no one injured.

The road is reportedly a regular site for elephants to approach vehicles to steal food.

Eule schnappt sich Drohne im Flug und verschleppt sie

SaltyTaco war gerade dabei, mit seiner neuen Quadrocopter-Drohne eine Runde im Hinterhof zu drehen, als eine Eule heran eilte, sie sich schnappte und das Dingen mitnahm. Bisher ist sie nicht wieder aufgetaucht.

Ein Redditor identifiziert den Vogel als Streifenkauz, eine Art, die sehr territorial ist. Der war wahrscheinlich sauer, dass die Drohne in seinem Revier war.
