Einfach die Karre mal stehen lassen. Hat man eh nur Stress. Dann lieber mit dem Rad los und hoffen, dass
Autofahrer es einem gleichtun, denn die stressen halt auch die Radfahrer.

This an unbranded PSA for bike advocates and enthusiasts, content designed for anyone and everyone to share, remix, or tailor for their own purposes to promote cycling and transportation choices in their communities. Erin DeWitt and I made this with some help from my mom to kick off spring 2018 and encourage you to RIDE A BIKE on this beautiful day.

Live Looping Mashup: Radiohead x The Police

Elise Trouw nimmt sich mit Radioheads „Weird Fishes/ Arpeggi“ und The Polices „The Bed’s Too Big Without You“ zwei ihrer Lieblingslieder und schweißt sie in einem Live Looping Mashup so auf den Punkt genau zusammen, dass man meinen müsste, dass das genau so sein muss. Und das klingt ganz wundervoll.

Radioheads „Creep“ trifft auf The Hollies‘ „The Air That I Breathe“

The Moon Loungers haben sich Radioheads „Creep“ und The Hollies‘ „The Air That I Breathe“ genommen und schon vor Jahren ganz wunderbar zu einem Song verschmolzen. Die Puristen werden wieder schimpfen, wie sie es immer tun. Aber die Idee dazu kommt nicht von ungefähr, denn Radiohead haben sich beim Schreiben von „Creep“ nicht unwesentlich an „The Air That I Breathe“ orientiert und so kommt zusammen, was irgendwie die selben Wurzeln hat – und weiß dabei sogar noch überzeugend zu klingen. Hier bei iTunes.

Due to similarities to „The Air That I Breathe“, a song recorded by the Hollies in 1973, Albert Hammond and Mike Hazlewood are credited as co-writers of „Creep“. „Creep“ uses a chord progression used in „The Air That I Breathe“ in its verse and a melody from „The Air That I Breathe“ in the bridge following the second chorus.

Mehr Sample-Orgie und Mix als Mashup, dennoch: Ithaca Audio bohrt hiermit definitiv keine dünnen Bretter und lötet 348 Rockstars, 84 Gitarristen, 64 Songs, 44 Drummer in ein Mashup: History of Rock. Dazu schafft er ein Video, das einen Social Media Account zeigt, auf dem all die alten Helden zusammenkommen und über Musik sprechen. Ziemlich geile Idee, großartig umgesetzt.
