Trailer: Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere

Für mich einer der immer noch ganz Großen, den live zu sehen ich bisher leider noch immer nicht geschafft habe. Aber man muss ja auch immer noch Ziele haben. Davor werde ich allerdings ziemlich sicher diesen Film gesehen. Ab 24.10.2025 im Kino.

“Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere” chronicles the making of Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 “Nebraska” album. Recorded on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom, the album marked a pivotal time in his life and is considered one of his most enduring works—a raw, haunted acoustic record populated by lost souls searching for a reason to believe.

Mithilfe ferngesteuerter Unterwasserfahrzeuge erkundeten Wissenschaftler zwei Jahre lang das Wrack derTitanic von verschiedenen Aussichtspunkten aus und dehnten ihre Untersuchung auf das bis zu fünf Kilometer breite Trümmerfeld aus. Ziel dieser Expedition war es, eine beispiellose digitale Ansicht des Schiffes zu erfassen und so eine lebensechte, virtuelle Rekonstruktion zu ermöglichen. Ein maßstabsgetreuer digitaler Zwilling der Titanic. Die komplette Doku jetzt im Stream bei Disney+.

Doku-Material für die Muppets-Liebhaber. Filmemacher Ron Howard hat diesen Dokumentarfilm über Jim Hensons Leben, seine künstlerischen Leistungen und seine Menschlichkeit erstellt. Er hat in seinem viel zu kurzen Leben Erstaunliches erreicht und sein Vermächtnis lebt bis heute weiter. Ab 31.05. auf Disney+.

Trailer: 500 Days in the wild

Die Regisseurin und Kamerafrau Dianne Whelan auf einer Reise durch die kanadische Wildnis. 24.000 Kilometer in sechs Jahren. Nur weiß ich nicht, ob der Film es auch in deutsche Kinos schafft. Ich würde hingehen.

Award-winning director and cinematographer Dianne Whelan is the only person to complete this epic journey of discovery—hiking, biking, paddling, snowshoeing and skiing across the country.

For a woman in her 50s who is not an extreme athlete, it was sometimes gruelling, occasionally harrowing, often exhilarating and always surprising. She started out alone, disillusioned with the state of the world and worried about climate change, to look for different ways of caring for the land and each other. She ended the journey a bit wiser, more hopeful, in love and with a passion to share this story.
