Harald Blüchel aka Cosmic Baby hat meine Welt für Ambient ziemlich erweitert und ist dann irgendwie vom Radar verschwunden. Um so mehr freue ich mich jetzt, ihn nach all den Jahren in einem Interview sehen zu können.
Harald Blüchel is a pioneering German electronic composer and producer, who played a key role in shaping the early sound of trance and techno in the early 90s.
He is mostly known under the alias Cosmic Baby, for which he did releases such as „Transcendental Overdrive“, „Heaven’s Tears“ , „Fantasia“ and of course „Loops Of Infinity“.
Later, he shifted further into more cinematic and ambient compositions, expanding beyond the club scene into filmic and experimental sound design.
Today, Cosmic Baby is regarded as one of the key early architects of trance. He is hardly doing interviews and especially video interviews with Harald are very, very rare! So I was very happy he was willing to talk to me about „Loops Of Infinity“, for sure one of my favorite Cosmic Baby tracks.
