Ich war sowohl in Phsyik als auch in Chemie eine ziemliche Niete. Auch deshalb fällt es mir bis heute verdammt schwer, zu kapieren, was bei Sachen wie diesen hier genau vor sich geht. Aber eines steht fest: es scheint mir Großartiges zu sein.
This presentation is completely live. An artist adds various reagents in small portions to a chemical process to the fluid phase floating on the surface of a liquid. Thus, the color, shape, and texture of the fluid components are dynamically changed and create artistic
abstraction. The process, transmitted through the web-camera, generates sound by given algorithm. The interaction of chemical components and milk creates a process of fractal nature. Solvation – enveloping the activesubstance of fat molecules in milk. Each process takes several minutes. A computer program captures the dynamics of the situation and creates LIQUID~DO.

Ich persönlich finde das Verchromen von Dingen ja irgendwie prollig. Ja gut, den Fahrradlenker, das kann man schon machen, aber wenn es um Teile für Auto oder Motorrad geht, wird es dann schon etwas komisch.
Viel weiter aber gehen die Synthi-Doktoren von Customsynth. Die überziehen ganze Synthesizer mit Chrome. Ändert am Klang ganz sicher nichts, sieht aber womöglich ziemlich hübsch aus. Und man weiß auch endlich mal wieder, was man mit der alten, angefangenen Tube Elsterglanz machen soll, über die man regelmäßig in der Garage stolpert.
