Das lauteste Katzenschnurren der Welt

Die 14-jährige Katze Bella hat das offiziell lauteste Katzenschnurren, das je gemessen wurde und es mit diesem jetzt ins Guinness-Buch der Weltrekorde geschafft.

Bella . . . achieved a purr measuring 54.6 decibels, equivalent to the volume of a boiling kettle.

Her feat was captured by an official adjudicator and an acoustic engineer who blocked out all external noise.

Nicole Spink, Bella’s owner, said she „couldn’t be more thrilled“.

Ein Kochroboter, der am Tag bis zu 5000 Essen zubereitet

Dieser Industrieroboter von Eatch kann bis zu 5000 Mahlzeiten am Tag kochen, wobei jede Mahlzeit individuell in einem eigenen kleinen Topf zubereitet wird. Das System verteilt automatisch Speiseöl, frische Zutaten und Gewürze in die Töpfe und dreht sie dann schräg über einer Flamme. Und nach dem Kochen wäscht das Ding auch gleich noch ab.

Online ANSI/ASCII art Archive

16colors.rs sammelt ANSI/ASCII Art seit dem Jahr 1990 bis ins Jetzt und wohl auch darüber hinaus. Ein gutes Stück Netzkultur in dem man sich mit jeder Menge Klicks schonmal verlieren kann.

We recognize the legacy and the importance of the original ANSI/ASCII art archive. In the recent years there has been a (modest) revival of the art form. Sixteencolors.net certainly deserves its honourable place in history and should receive proper credit for everything it and its creators have achieved, despite the state of the site right now. But that also means there was a gap to fill. We just jumped in and the name chosen should be seen as a tribute to the original site.
