Ein fotorealistisch animierter Bahnsteig

Wahnsinnig beindruckend, wie weit CG heute ist. Lorenzo Drago hat mit Unreal Engine 5 einen Bahnhof nachempfunden, den er selber nie besucht hat. Und das einfach verdammt realistisch aus.

My latest environment, freely based on a real-life train station in Toyama, Japan.
The environment is running in Unreal Engine 5, lit with Lumen. I didn’t use Nanite.
I worked on all modeling, texturing, lighting and animation for this video.
The only exception is foliage, which is from Quixel Megascans.

Der Versuch einer physikalischen Erklärung dieses „Phänomens“, das eigentlich keins ist.

An einer katholischen Schule verkaufte Kunstblumen entpuppen sich als String-Tangas

An einer katholischen Grundschule in Philadelphia veranstalteten sie zum Muttertag einen Blumenverkauf, bei die Kinder Kunstrosen als Geschenk für ihre Mütter kaufen konnten. Diese haben dann festgestellt, dass die „Kunstblumen“ Tanga-Slips waren, die zu Rosen geformt waren. Hopsalie!

„The roses sold at our Mother’s Day plant sale were not the single faux flowers originally intended. Instead, the item was a Valentine’s Day gift intended for adults. The administration will determine how the error occurred and take steps to prevent a further recurrence.“

Der Sound Designer Yuri Suzuki hat mit The Ambient Machine einen Soundgenerator entwickelt, mit dem man sich auf einfachste Weise Ambient zusammenschalten kann. Gibt es so ähnlich im Netz zur Genüge, nun also auch als Hardware. Ich denke, dass ich daran durchaus meine Freude haben könnte.

„White noise can mask unpleasant sounds around us and give us a sense of relief. Natural sounds can provide the feeling of relocating to a new environment, providing a break from the environments we have been confined to, and musical rhythms can provide us with patterns to find stability.“
