Es rumort. Rage Against the Machine haben letzte Nacht eine neue Website gelauncht: prophetsofrage.com. Diese ist natürlich aktuell down. Wen wundert’s, denn irgendwas wird da wohl am 1. Juni kommen. Und das es letztmalig was Neues von RATM gab, ist mittlerweile fünf Jahre her, als die Männer zum letzten Mal gemeinsam auf der Bühne standen.
Interessant auch der mit „Clear the way for the prophets of rage“ Querverweis auf Public Enemys „Prophets of Rage.“ Vielleicht waren die alle zusammen im Studio. Ohweee!

Rage Against the Machine, who last played together in 2011, are up to something: Last night, the band launched a new website, prophetsofrage.com, with a countdown leading to June 1. Upon inputting their email address, visitors receive a mysterious image reading, „Clear the way for the prophets of rage,“ a lyric from the Public Enemy song „Prophets of Rage.“ The hashtag, „#TakeThePowerBack,“ is the name of a Rage Against the Machine song. Check it out below. Twitter users have also posted pictures of the image plastered on posters around L.A. Whatever’s going on, Chuck D seems to be in on it. Last night, he tweeted a pair of links to video of Rage performing live in London in 2010.
Egal, was genau am 1. Juni auf prophetsofrage.com passieren wird, es könnte etwas ganz Großes werden. Wenn es denn mehr als nur eine Tour werden sollte. Und selbst wenn es nur die sein sollte, gehe ich trotzdem hin. Klar. #TakeThePowerBack
